You can get them in the DIY shop. Once you've done this use some creme cleaner on it. The powder in it will take any minute bits off it. Then give it a good buffing. Should come up like a new penny! You ll have trouble finding a silicone sealer and these types need to be reapplied 2/3 times a year. What you need is a penetrating sealer, some guaranteed for 25 years. Any thing glazed or the glass won t absorb any sealer.You say mosaic but that can be glazed or a mosaic stone. I ve used both Miracle 511 Impregnating sealer and Tile Labs penetrating sealer. Seal at least once before installing ( I seal twice) and then again after you grout 72 hrs later when the grout haze and the tiles are clean as according to directions.. Q. I am making a class keepsake for our 2nd grade class to be auctioned off. I woulld like to photogragh each child and transfer the picture onto a piece of tile. I would then like to make a mosaic cross (to hang on a wall) with those tiles. First is it possible and second would it be very hard. I am not very crafty. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
